If sound frequencies can move emotions, perhaps they are the code that connects us to the world.
That evening, more than twenty participants gathered for this “Cultural Salon” and took part in a journey through the senses and through frequency.
With sound as his medium, MC Yan transformed the space into a layered soundscape woven together by vinyl records and singing bowls. Sound was no longer something to simply hear, but an exploration that crossed geographical boundaries and reached into the deeper places within.
The event also coincided with the full moon of the “Strawberry Moon.” The biggest surprise of the night was a special gift prepared by MC Yan: a vinyl record personally recorded at the Hindu temple in Queen’s Hill, Fanling. With its hexagonal lotus-shaped architecture, the temple seemed to preserve an ancient sacred resonance, sealed within the grooves of vinyl as a lasting physical memory of the evening.
Travel is not merely travel; it is also a journey into knowledge.
Thank you to every fellow explorer who joined us. Until our next journey.
