Ronny is Founding Chairman of the Hong Kong Wine Critics Association and former Chairman of the Greater China Wine Critics Association. He began publishing wine critiques in the 1980s and has authored multiple works, including "Pouring Wine," and served as the editor among other Chinese-language works. Since 2011, he has served as Co-Chair for the Shanghai International Wine Competition by the Shanghai Municipal Government. In 2012, he was also invited to produce wine in Italy, becoming the first Chinese winemaker to brew Super Tuscan.
