Introduction
Tokyo’s 23 districts conceal a plethora of unconventional energies that invite visitors to vibe with their mesmerising frequencies. This tour explores the influence of Tokyo’s two towers on the realms of cinema, literature and the Edo era’s Ukiyo-e art. The tour will also trace the works of leading 60’s avant-garde artist Shuji Terayama and that of other icons, including Lafcadio Hearn and Katsushika Hokusai, which portray the evolution of Tokyo’s mystical allure from the Edo period to today. Many a time during his decades in Japan, Jason Lam experienced confluences of desire and the occult, inspiring him to lead our expedition into the lesser-known side to Tokyo through an Edo lens, and to delve into the Japanese capital’s creative origins through an upcoming exhibition.
Each successful registrant attending the event will receive a discount code, allowing them to enjoy a one-time discount of HK$1,000 when they register for any tour within the six months. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
